BD reports this year's first dengue death

Bangladesh reported this year's first death of a dengue patient on Tuesday, while 27 more people got admitted to different hospitals in Dhaka with the mosquito-borne disease in the last 24 hours till 8:00am on the day.
The deceased was identified as Ayul Khan, 12, who was undergoing treatment at Central Hospital in the capital's Dhanmondi area.
Among the new patients, no case was reported from outside Dhaka division, according to a report prepared by the Directorate General of Health Services.
A total of 106 patients were receiving treatment at 47 public and private hospitals in the capital until Tuesday while the remaining four were being treated outside Dhaka.
Some 808 patients were admitted to different hospitals in the country with dengue from January 1, 2022 to June 21, 2022, the report said.
