BD seeks certain trade privileges from US

Bangladesh Ambassador in Washington Akramul Qader has urged the US government to allow Bangladesh with certain trade privileges which would help expand further the already existing healthy trade relations between the two countries. He reiterated Bangladesh’s commitment to work with the US government to advance the bilateral relations in depth and dimensions and also hoped that the two democracy-loving and friendly nations expect that the relations would grow in multiple areas in the future. The envoy was addressing a reception hosted by Bangladesh Embassy in Washington marking the 44th National and Independence Day at the Bangabandhu auditorium in its Chancery, according a media release received in Dhaka on Thursday, according to a news agency.
