BD seeks Philippines' support for Asean partnership, Rohingya crisis solution

Foreign Affairs Adviser Md Touhid Hossain on Sunday sought the Philippines' support for Bangladesh's bid to become a Sectoral Dialogue Partner of Asean and for a sustainable solution to the Rohingya crisis, reports UNB.
The issue was discussed when newly appointed Ambassador of the Philippines Nina Padilla Cainglet met Touhid Hossain at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Discussions focused on issues like bilateral trade and investment, direct air connectivity, renewable energy, education, agriculture, etc.
