BD to have 3 new economic zones

The country will have three new economic zones for export-oriented industries to fetch more overseas investment and external trade. Among the three planned economic zones, the first one will be situated at Sherpur in Moulvibazar district, around 35 kilometres away from the divisional headquarters of Sylhet. Two others will be located at Mirershorai and Anwara in Chittagong. — BSS
