BD to import potash fertiliser from Canada

The government signed a contract worth US$ 44 million (4.4 crore) with the government of Canada to import high quality potash fertiliser from the country.  Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC), the Canadian government’s international government-to-government contracting organisation, signed the contract with  Bangladesh Agriculture Development Corporation (BADC), said a press release of the High Commission of Canada to Bangladesh.  The high quality Canadian potash will be mined from member mines of  Canpotex Limited.    — UNB
