Tuesday, 27 April 2021

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has confirmed that they are in the process of rescheduling the upcoming home series against Australia and New Zealand, scheduled to be held as part of preparations for the upcoming T20 World Cup, due to be hosted by India, in October-November, 2021, reports Cricbuzz.
According to the original schedule, New Zealand were initially scheduled to tour Bangladesh for a three-match T20I series and followed by Australia. However, in a change of plans, the Australians are set to arrive first, upon the conclusion of their tour of West Indies, in early August, with New Zealand squad expected to come next.
Akram Khan, former captain and chairman BCB's cricket operations, confirmed the development to the online sports portal and also that they were looking at the possibility of adding a couple of more T20s to the already planned three-match series against Australia. "Australia will come to Bangladesh after playing with West Indies in late July or early August while New Zealand will follow them later," he said.
