BD U-19 Football team leave for Iraq today

Bangladesh U-19 Football team will fly for Iraq today (Sunday) to participate in the Group C match of the AFC U-19 Championship Qualifiers beginning in the Arbil City of Iraq Tuesday, reports UNB.
Hemanta Vincent Biswas will lead the Bangladesh team in the AFC youth meet while national striker Toklis Ahmed was made his deputy.
In the Group C encounters, Bangladesh will play hosts Iraq on October 8, play Kuwait on October 10 and meet Pakistan on October 12.
Bangladesh captain expressed his optimism to do a better result in the meet as they are working hard, having a good moral condition and moreover they are hundred per cent fit for the meet.
Earlier in a pre-tour press conference, Head coach of Bangladesh Youth team Rene Koster expressed his high hope about the team and said his boys have the ability to qualify for the final round of the AFC U-19 Championship.
"My expectation is to do well in the meet, I watched the video of Iraq, Kuwait, Pakistan and of course they are very good opponents, but I'm only looking at my team, which is preparing well this time," Rene Koster said.
"I have a lot of faith in my team, this team is good as a team and also good as individual. Sohel Rana is injured, he is the only player who cannot play," he added.
Rene Koster further said, "Of course, our goal is to qualify for the next round, in the team there are many talented players and many of them may make debut in the national team within two years. So, our main target is to gain international experience."
