BD wheat tender sees lowest offer at $ 243.69

Bangladesh received the lowest offer of $ 243.69 a tonne, including CIF liner out, from Phoenix Commodities in a tender to import 50,000 tonnes of wheat, officials at the state grains buyer said Wednesday, reports Reuters.
Three trading firms competed for the tender, which closed Tuesday. The wheat is to be shipped in 40 days after singing the deal.
The state grains buyer plans to import 900,000 tonnes of wheat in the year to June 2015.
