BD women clinch IHF title beating Pakistan 34-22

Bangladesh women’s team clinched the International Handball Federation (IHF) Trophy beating hosts Pakistan by 34-22 goals in the final at Faisalabad in Pakistan on Sunday.
Bangladesh women’s team earlier confirmed their final berth beating Nepal 35-19 in the semifinal on Saturday while men’s team was eliminated from the tournament losing to Yemen 29-31 in the semifinal.
In the women’s group, six Asian national teams -– Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Nepal, India, Pakistan and Yemen -- took part in the five-day meet while men’s group comprised seven teams -- hosts Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Afghanistan, Maldives and Yemen, according to a news agency.
