BD workers to get priority in Iraq: Envoy

Outgoing Iraqi ambassador in Bangladesh Shakir Quasim Mahdi said Thursday that Bangladeshi workers would get priority in the gigantic development work launched in Iraq, reports BSS.
He said this during a farewell call on Foreign Minister (FM) Abul Hasan Mahmood Ali at his office in the foreign ministry in the capital.
The minister thanked the Iraqi envoy for playing an important role in strengthening the bilateral ties between Bangladesh and Iraq. He also wished his good health and overall welfare.
The Iraqi ambassador expressed gratitude to the Bangladesh government for extending all sorts of cooperation given to him during his stay in Bangladesh.
