BD, Zimbabwe in Khulna to play 2nd Test

Players, officials and support staff of Bangladesh and Zimbabwe national cricket teams arrived in Khulna city to play the 2nd Test of the 3-match Test series. The 2nd Test will begin at Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium on Monday. They arrived in the city from Dhaka on Thursday night. The entire city got a facelift ahead of the Test match, 2nd one to be hosted by the stadium after 2012. Development works have been carried out on city roads while different intersections beautified. Three hotels where the players, officials and the support staff will stay during the match have also been illuminated. The both teams will start their three-day practice on Friday, confirmed BCB. The stadium is completely ready to host the Test match, venue manager Abdus Sattar Kochi said, adding that some 2,500 seats have been reinstalled to increase the capacity of the stadium, according to a news agency.
