BDBL earns Tk 811.9m as operating profit

State-owned Bangladesh Development Bank Limited (BDBL) earned an operating profit of Tk. 811.9 million during the first six months (January-June) of the current calendar year registering a 24 percent rise against the corresponding period of the previous year. During the same period, the Bank sanctioned Tk. 1.49 billion and disbursed Tk 1.54 billion.The Bank recovered Tk.1.39 billion during the same period. BDBL has no provision & capital shortfall, according to a statement.
