"We term Bangladesh as the China-plus country as it
is an attractive location for business" the envoy said during a press the meet programme at Dhaka Reporters Unity Wednesday.
The Japanese Ambassador said Bangladesh has excellent human resources apart from cheap labour and future investments would further improve the bilateral relationship with Bangladesh.
"Japan's rank in the investment scenario of this country is number six. This means there is lot of scope to reduce the gap by increasing the investment," Shinotsuka said.

He said Japan has very close and historical relationship with Bangladesh in different areas including trade, investment and social development.
Shinotsuka highlighted the Japanese government assistance to the country's infrastructure, energy and social sectors including Jamuna bridge construction, proposed Padma multipurpose bridge, power plants and said the Japanese government is ready to further promote the trade relationship.
