B\\\'desh face Jordan today

Bangladesh U-16 women's football team will meet Jordan in the Group-B match of the AFC Under-16 Women's Championship 2015 Qualifiers at the Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS) in the city today (Wednesday), reports UNB.
According to the revised schedule, Iran will meet UAE in the inaugural match at 2:00 pm while Bangladesh will face Jordan at 5:00 pm in the second match of the day.
In the remaining group matches, Bangladesh will play UAE on October 17, India on October 19 and Iran on October 23, all at the BNS.  Satellite TV Channel 9 will telecast all the matches live.
After the group matches, two top teams will qualify for the final round of the meet to be held in China next year.
At an official press conference at the BFF House Tuesday, host Bangladesh and UAE expressed their desire to put up a gallant show in the tournament while Jordan, Iran and India set their eyes on winning the group.
Bangladesh U-16 eves head coach Golam Rabbani Chhoton felt that it is time to show improvement. "Against the stronger teams, we are determined to show our mettle as a developing and improving side."
"Bangladesh will play positive football," he added.
Coach Manar Mustafa Ahmad Fraij of tournament hot favourite Jordan confidently said: "We will be fighting to win… my players are ready and have adapted well with the local conditions."
He said: "We also want to clinch the title of the AFC U-16 Women's Championship 2015 to confirm our World U-17 Women's Cup."
UAE coach Samir al Andaluse said: "We are in the path of improvement and we want to gain valuable experience for the next U-17 World Cup.  We'll try our best to put up a good show."
Indian coach Maymol Rocky felt that familiar conditions will inspire her team. She said: "We're ready to take the field to win the championship. It won't be easy, but we are ready to fight it out."
Iranian coach Shadi Mahini was taking nothing for granted. She said,
"Iran is firmly focused towards the title… the players know they have to put in their best to get past the challenges,"
"Iran will be playing to win the title," said Mahini, the coach of Iran - another stronger team of the tournament.
