Bangladesh women's cricket team will start their campaign in the six-nation ACC Women's Asia Cup T20 against Sri Lanka at Royal Selangor Club in Malaysia's Kuala Lumpur today (Sunday), reports UNB.
The 2nd match of the continental tournament will begin at 7:30 am (Bangladesh time), while hosts Malaysia taking on India in the opener which will begin at the same time at Kinrara Academy Oval.
Bangladesh captain Salma Khatun hoped her side will play good cricket to reach the final of the meet saying, "All teams are good.
So do us. Of course, we will try to play good cricket, if so, we can play the final. We hope to bring a good result."
Salma was talking to press before leaving home for Malaysia on Friday.
In the remaining matches, Bangladesh will face Pakistan, India, Thailand and hosts Malaysia on June 4, 6, 7 and 9 respectively.
The event will be end June 10.
