Bangladesh Under-19 team won the series 1-0 after beating Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) of India by 134 runs on the third day of their 2nd and last four-day match at BKSP ground-3 in Savar Friday, reports UNB.
Earlier, the two sides played to a draw in the first four-day match at Khan Saheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah.
On the third day (Friday), Bangladesh, which resumed the 2nd innings with overnight 13/1 in 4 overs, were dismissed for 148 runs in 46.4 overs.
Night watch opener Munim Shahriar (3) scored the team highest 49 runs and another night watch Joyraj Sheikh Emon (6) added 33 runs.
Mossabbek Hossain and Mehedi Hasan Miraz scored 29 runs each while Abdul Qayyum made 12 runs.
Shreyansh Sharma claimed five wickets for 51 runs while Kuldeep Singh grabbed three wickets for 64 runs and Apurv Purohit took one wicket.
Chasing 239 runs to win, MPCA opened the 2nd innings and were all out for 104 in 35.1 overs.
Arpit Gaud scored team highest 28 runs, Ashwin Das and Shahbaz Khan scored 16 runs each while Apurv Purohit added unbeaten 8 runs.
Mehedi Hasan Miraz captured four wickets for 15 runs, Abdul Qyyium grabbed three wickets for 40 runs while Mehedi Hasan Rana took two wickets for 18 runs and Rifat Pradhan took one wicket.
