The 20th edition of the Bangladesh Network Operators Group (bdNOG) Conference is set to be held in Sylhet, marking another milestone in the country's networking and ICT community.
The four-day event, titled bdNOG-20 Conference and Workshop, will be organised at the Grand Sylhet Hotel and Resort, said an official statement.
The technical workshops are scheduled from 11 to 13 November, followed by the main conference on 14 November. The event is co-organised by the Internet Service Providers Association of Bangladesh (ISPAB).
President of bdNOG Rashed Amin Bidyut will attend the conference, while ISPAB President Aminul Hakim and Secretary General Nazmul Karim Bhuiyan, among others, are expected to address the event.
Secretary General of bdNOG Borkotullah Alam Biplob said this year's workshops will focus on three key areas: Network and DNS Security, Virtualisation with Proxmox, and Advanced Routing with Mikrotik. "We believe these technical sessions will enhance the professional competence of engineers, ultimately benefiting the country's ISP sector," he added.
