BDR, BSF exchange fire in Joypurhat frontier

Joypurhat, July 28 (UNB) - Indian Boarder Security Force (BSF) and Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) exchanged fire at Koia frontier in Panchbibi upazila Saturday night. BDR sources said the BSF troops from Sidai camp fired two shots across the border near border pillar No 281 around 8pm without any provocation, prompting BDR jawans to fire back five shots. However, there was no report of any casualty in the incident.
