BDR, BSF trade gunfire

SATKHIRA, June 9 (UNB): The members of Bangladesh Riffles (BDR) and Indian Border Security Force (BSF) traded gunfire across separate frontier points in the district early Saturday
The BDR sources said the BSF troops of Arshikori camp fired three shots on Medra frontier in Kolaroa upazila at 4am "without any provocation".
The BDR personnel retaliated with several shots.
The border guards of the two neighbouring countries also exchanged gunfire on Ruddhapur frontier in Sarsha upazila at the same time.
None was reported injured during the exchange of gunfire. Tensions were prevailing along the southwestern border.
