BDR nab JMB 'activist' with Tk 1.4m cash

BENAPOLE (Jessore), Nov 17 (UNB): A suspected member of outlawed Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) was arrested along with Tk 1.40 million in cash in Amrakhali area of Sharsha Upazila Thursday noon.
Acting on a tip-off, members of Bangladesh Riffles (BDR) intercepted a Dhaka-bound bus at Bashkol in Amrakhali area at about 12:30pm and arrested Hasan (40), son of late Abu Mohammad of Dalainagar of Raujan Upazila of Chittagong.
The BDR personnel searching his luggage also recovered cash Tk 1.40 million. A case was filed in this connection.
