BDR, Navy reach final

Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) and Bangladesh Navy reached the final of the 23rd National Volleyball Cham-pionship winning their respective semi-finals in straight sets at the Mirpur Indoor Stadium in the city Sunday, reports UNB.
In the day's first semi-final, Bangladesh Rifles defeated Bangladesh Police 25-14, 25-18, 25-23 while Bangladesh Navy outplayed Bangladesh Army 25-20, 26-24, 25-22 in the 2nd semis.
The final match between the two Services teams will be held today (Monday) at 3:30 pm at the same venue.
Bangladesh Volleyball Federation President and Privatisation Commission Member Mia Mushtaq Ahmed will be the chief guest on the occasion.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh Police take on Bangladesh Army in the third-place decider today at 2 pm, also at the same venue.
