BDR push back 26 Myanmar nationals

RANGAMATI, Nov 9 (BSS): Members of Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) have pushed back 26 more Myanmar nationals including 11 children and 10 women through Chakdhala frontier points under Naikyongchhari Upazila of Bandarban hill district Sunday, the BDR sources said.
The Myanmar nationals hailed from Buchidong and Mongdu under Arakan of Myanmar were arrested by the police while they were infiltrating into Bangladesh through border at Ghumdhum Saturday.
The police handed them over to BDR for pushing them back to Myanmar after interrogation, said Officer-in-Charge of Naikhyongchhari police Obaidul Haque.
Immediately after handing the arrestees over to the BDR, they were pushed back through Chakdhala frontier, Commanding Officer of 15th battalion of BDR, stationed at Nainkhyongchhari of Bandarban, Lieutenant Colonel Adil told the news agency Sunday night.
