BDR seize huge Indian saris

BRAHMANBARIA, Sept 16: Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) seized 1,800 Indian saris worth about Tk 6.6 million (66 lakh) from Chakbasta village near the right side of the Akhaura Railway Station under Akhaura Upazila Saturday.
Acting on a tip-off, BDR seized the 27 bales of Indian saris being smuggled into the country from India.
