BDR selling powder milk at Tk 85 lower per kg

The prices of some major essential commodities are at least 16 per cent less in the BDR-run markets than in other markets in the capital city, reports BSS.
According to BDR sources, the price of one kg of full-cream powder milk, which has been imported from China, is Tk 85 less than that of powdered milk sold in the city's other markets.
The BDR is selling the milk at Tk 380 per kg, which is being sold at Tk 450 in other markets.
The price of coarse rice is Tk 20 per kg at BDR markets, which is Tk 23 to Tk 26 in other markets, while the price of lentils (foreign) at BDR markets is Tk 58 per kg, while it is Tk 65-Tk 66 in other markets.
The locally produced lentil is being sold at Tk 60 at BDR markets, while price of the commodity is Tk 75-Tk 76 in other markets.
