BDs to get chance for Akama change in Saudi

Bangladeshi workers in Saudi Arabia will enjoy chance to change their Akamas (work permit) and professions from February 16, said Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Khandker Mosharraf Hossain on Thursday. The minister came up with the announcement while talking to the UNB over phone at night. Asked for how long the Saudi government would offer the opportunity for the Bangladeshi workers, Khandker Mosharraf said, “No timeframe has been fixed. If any problem does not arise, Bangladeshi workers will continue to avail themselves of the opportunity”.
