Beach Bodybuilding begins in Cox\\\'s Bazar today

The Walton Smart TV First Beach Bodybuilding Competition, organised by Bangladesh Bodybuilding Federation, begins Sunday at Laboni point of Cox's Bazar, reports UNB.
Deputy Commissioner of Cox's Bazar M Ruhul Amin will inaugurate the three-day meet.
Additional Director of the meet sponsor Walton (RB Group) FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn will also attend the function.
Some 100 bodybuilders from across the country, including 24 seeded bodybuilders, are expected to compete in eight weight categories.
The categories are: 55 kg, 60 kg, 65 kg, 70 kg, 75 kg, 80 kg, 85 kg and + 85 kg.
The gold medalist of each weight category will be awarded with cash prize money of Tk 5,000, the silver medalist will receive prize money of Tk 3,000 and the bronze medalist will get Tk 2,000 each in addition to medals and certificates.
