Beach Football to begin tomorrow

The 1st Walton Beach Football will begin tomorrow (Saturday) at the Laboni Points, tourist city of Cox's Bazar, reports BSS.
A total of 8 teams, split into two groups, will compete in the five-day meet, sponsored by Walton.
The champions of the meet will receive Tk 20,000 while the runners-up get Tk 15,000 as cash prize.
Besides, all the participating teams will have Tk, 5,000 as participation money.
In this regard, a press conference was held Thursday at the National Sports Council conference (NSC) room to give all the details of the meet.
NSC Secretary Shivnath Roy, Walton additional director head of games of sports FM Iqbal Bin Anwar, Walton Brand Ambassador Jobea Rahman Linu, Bangladesh Football Federation executive member Bijon Barua, Cox's Bazar district Sports Association General Secretary Jasim Uddin were, among others, present on the occasion.
