Beautician stabbed dead \\\'by husband\\\'

A beautician woman was stabbed to death allegedly by her husband at her workplace near Darshana police camp in Damurhuda upazila in Chuadanga district on Sunday. The deceased was identified as Marium Akhter, 26, wife of Sujan of Ajimpur village in the upazila. Locals said Sujan stormed the beauty parlour ‘Torch Makeover’ around 3:00pm and stabbed Marium with sharp weapon while she was working there, leaving her injured. Hearing Marium’s scream, local people rushed to the spot and rescued her. Marium died on the way to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital. Witnesses said Sujan were seen fleeing from the place at that time, according to a news agency.
