Beckham trains with Galaxy

LOS ANGELES, Oct 4 (AFP): David Beckham, idled by a knee injury since August 29, resumed light training with Major League Soccer's Los Angeles Galaxy Wednesday.
It marked the England midfielder's first practice with his US team since he sprained his right knee in the Galaxy's SuperLiga final loss to Mexican club Pachuca on August 29.
It had been expected that the injury would keep him out for 10 weeks - the rest of the MLS season, but Beckham has said he is determined to make it back before the end of the campaign.
