B.Ed curriculum to be updated to create skilled teachers: Nahid

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid said Thursday curriculum of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) will be updated by incorporating modern and ICT education to build efficient teachers for enhancing quality of education, reports BSS.
"The process of updating B.Ed curriculum is underway .... It will be updated in line with National Education Policy-2010 to create skilled teachers for ensuring quality education in the country," he told a workshop on "Finalisation of updated B.Ed curriculum" in the auditorium of Govt. Teachers Training College in Dhaka, an official release said.
National University Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof Harun Ur Rashid and Open University VC Prof Dr MA Mannan addressed the workshop.
