Being watchful of online platforms

With the increasing use of technology and online activities, the number of cybercrimes in Bangladesh is on the rise. The recurrence of various kinds of cybercrimes bears out the need to expand the number of cyber security experts in our law enforcement agencies. Unfortunately, there are only eight cyber tribunals in all eight divisions of the country in order to hold trials of cybercrimes related cases including those filed under the Digital Security Act. If we want to check cybercrimes, we must increase the number of such tribunals.
Many youngsters in our country get involved in cybercrimes unknowingly. So, these youths must be watchful while using online platforms. Social media users also have to be more cautious about making public remarks and sharing contentious items.
