Benajir Ahmed elected NSU BoT chairman

Freedom fighter Benajir Ahmed, one of the founders and life members of North South University (NSU) and an eminent industrialist, has unanimously been elected as the Chairman of Board of Trustees (BoT) of NSU recently, said a press release.
After receiving post graduation degree in Accounting from Dhaka University, Lion Benajir Ahmed started his career as a businessman.
He is the managing director and CEO of Raymond Group of Industries. He is the current secretary general of Association of Private Universities of Bangladesh (APUB).
In 2001, he served as the president of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI). He received Commercially Important Person (CIP) award several times for his outstanding contribution in export sector.
