Benajir Ahmed NSF endowment committee chair

Immediate-past chairman of North South University Trust and founder life member of the North South Foundation (NSF) Benajir Ahmed has been unanimously elected chairman of the NSF Endowment Committee, that funded establishment of the university, in its 23rd annual general meeting on June 19 for the term of 2015-16, says a press release.
Besides, Prof. Syed A Ahad, former chairman and teacher of the Department of Soil, Water and Environment at the University of Dhaka, and Yasmin Kamal, an eminent industrialist, have been unanimously elected vice chairman and treasurer respectively of the endowment committee for the same term.
Benajir Ahmed is a reputed industrialist and Chairman and Managing Director of Raymond Group of Industries. He is a director of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) and past president of the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) and a former CIP of the country.
He was a vice president of Bangladesh Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA). He is also a member of the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in Bangladesh.
On the other hand, Yasmin Kamal is an eminent industrialist and director of the National Credit and Commerce Bank Ltd.
