Berger Paints comes forward for welfare of autistic children

Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited, the leading multinational paint company has added another dimension to its corporate social responsibilities. To reiterate its image as a socially responsible organisation, Berger Paints has extended its hand towards the well being of autistic children of Bangladesh. This year, Berger Paints has selected five organizations: SEID Trust, Society for the Welfare of Autistic Children (SWAC), Autism Welfare Foundation (AWF), Tauri Foundation, and Scholars Special School to donate physiotherapy material, multimedia projector, yearly calendar, musical instruments and house rent cheque based on their need.
In a simple ceremony held in its corporate office on November 25, Managing Director of Berger Paints Bangladesh Ltd Rupali Chowdhury handed over the material and cheques to the respective organizations. In her speech she said she expected that like Berger Paints other organizations would also come forward for the welfare of the autistic children. Director Finance and Company Secretary Mr. Abdul Khalek, GM (Sales & Marketing) Mr. Mohsin Habib Chowdhury, other high officials of Berger Paints as well as the directors of the organizations were also present on the occasion.
