Best Aviation starts operation on Jan 14

Best Aviation Limited, a local private airlines, will start its flight operations between Dhaka and port city Chittagong from January 14 next year with Boeing 737.
"The aircraft is equipped to fly up to 118 passengers a flight with a total safety and comfort," M. Haideruzzaman, Chairman of Best Aviation Ltd said at a press conference in a city hotel Saturday.
He said the Boeing 737 airplane is the most sought-after passenger carrier aircraft of all times, now a part of Best Air. Primarily, this aircraft is preferred for fuel-efficiency and environment-friendliness, he added.
Another Boeing 737 will join the fleet by the mid of the next month, he said. Best Air plans to operate between Dhaka and the domestic and
International destinations-Chittagong, Sylhet, Kolkata, Madras, Bangkok and Kun-ming. The first leg of operations will be Dhaka- Chitta-gong and others will follow suit shortly, he added.
Haideruzzaman said in each of their flight, Best Air will provide a free seat for disabled persons and freedom fighters. Nobel Laureate Mohammad Yunus will also be able to travel free of cost in any route, he added.
"Best Air plans to connect Bangladesh with the Far Eastern Countries, Pacific Region, Middle East, East Europe, Central and West Europe, Africa, USA and Canada progressively from 2008 to 2012" said M. Haideruzzaman.

Among others, Farhad Hossian, Head of Marketing and Sales, Jalal Uddin, M. Moniruzzaman and group captain (Rtd.) Alamgir were also present at the press conference.
