Betar\\\'s \\\'Diamond Jubilee\\\' celebration Dec 16

The ‘Diamond Jubilee’ marking the completion of 75 years of Bangladesh Betar will be celebrated on December 16. On the occasion, Bangladesh Betar has taken a 4-day programme beginning on Dec 15. The inaugural ceremony of the ‘Diamond Jubilee’ will be held at Jatiya Betar Bhaban at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Agargaon, in the city around 3:00pm on Dec 15. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the 4-day programme. The closing function of the ‘Diamond Jubilee’ will be held at 5:30pm on Dec 18 at the same venue, where Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith will be present as the chief guest, according to an official handout.
