SINCE the minds of the students are soft, there should be highest degree of unity amongst the students in a classroom. But very unfortunately it can be found that there are some ‘groupings’ in a class or there is lack of unity amongst students in a class. The reasons could be that someone wants to make better result and so he or she hides many important information related to studies to other students. Another reason could be that the best students suffer from superiority complex and so they do not mix with the other students of the class. Also students might be in quarrel with each other for such day to day affairs as collection of notes, collection of question papers etc.
If students live in unity, they can be benefited in multiple ways. First, the good students can help the less progressed students in their studies. In this way, it can be ensured that none will remain as 'weak student' in the class. Second, when all students will study seriously and unitedly, the image of the class will be bright to teachers and others in the institute. Also since there will be unity, teachers will have to listen less complain from the class and teachers do not have to spend time in resolving issues related to interpersonal problems of the class, rather they can think for the well-being of the students and can spend time in constructive ways. Third, when students will try to ensure that all their classmates are regular in studies, they can expect that their exams will be held in time. Otherwise, what happens is sometimes some students who are not well prepared for tests/exams try to take the exams at a later day by requesting the teacher/head of the department. There is a good chance that such practice of deferring exams will be stopped if all students are regular and help each other in their studies.
When students will learn how to focus on their individual performance and the performance of the whole class by putting united efforts, each of them will gain in life--both in short and long term. While they will all successfully pass the exams, they will also be very confident about themselves, will develop team spirit in them. All these will enhance the image of their batch and their institute. Also they will be successful in their professional life for their developed attitude and habit of helping others.
