BFF, BCB mourn death of Sharif Osman Hadi

Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) and Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Inqilab Mancha spokesperson Sharif Osman Hadi.
BFF posted a picture of Hadi on its social media Facebook page on Thursday last night and wrote, "Inqilab Mancha spokesperson Sharif Osman Hadi breathed his last while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Singapore," reports BSS.
The BFF also wrote, "Praying for the eternal peace of Hadi's departed soul, Bangladesh Football Federation and conveying deep sympathies to the bereaved family."
At the same time, in a statement last night, the BCB also expressed its shock and sorrow, posting with a picture of Hadi and said, "The Bangladesh Cricket Board expresses its deep condolences and profound sadness at the passing of Sharif Osman Bin Hadi."
On December 12, Hadi sustained a critical head injury after being shot by assailants while campaigning in Old Paltan in the capital.
After receiving initial treatment at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital and Evercare Hospital, he was airlifted to Singapore by an air ambulance on December 15 for advanced medical treatment, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
