"We believe the match fees and insurance will inspire the players to be more committed and show their best," Helal said. "It will become effective from the Merdeka Cup in Malaysia, scheduled for October 15 to October 25."
As per match fees, 11 members each of the starting line-up in an international match will get US$50 while the rest of the squad get $25. In addition, all players of the squad will be awarded $200 bonuses each for an international win.
Apart from players, the coaching staff will also be awarded $200 bonuses, said Helal.
The country's football governing body will also ensure Tk 2.0 million (20 lakh) for players' families in case of unnatural death and Tk 1.0 million for natural death.
Each player will also get a maximum Tk 0.5 million in medical expenses for injuries.
The meeting also decided to send Maruful Haq and Saiful Bari Titu, who possess B licences, to Sri Lanka to obtain A licence coaching certificates so that they may conduct referee courses in the country.
The BFF will announce a 20-member squad Saturday for the Merdeka Cup and the team will play a warm-up match against a team comprising B League players Sunday.
