BFF signs agreement with Bashundhara Group today

Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) will sign an agreement with Bashundhara Group today (Sunday) for the development of country's football, reports UNB.
The signing ceremony will be held at the Kurmitola Golf Club at 1 pm. Army Chief and National Sports Council (NSC) Chairman General Moeen U Ahmed, BFF President Kazi Mohammad Salahuddin and Bashundhara group chairman Ahmed Akber Sobhan will be present at the function.
Under the agreement, Bashundhara Group will give Tk 45 million (Tk 4.5 crore) for three years (Tk 15 million each year) to BFF to cheer up the grass roots level of country's football, to groom up the booters and to revive the district football league across the country.
A BFF official said that a big surprise is awaiting BFF, which will be revealed during the signing ceremony.
Earlier, in the last year, the present committee, led by Kazi
Mohammad Salahuddin, made a first-ever big agreement of Tk 165 million with country's one of the leading cell phone operators Citycell for the development of football.
