BFF to hold exhibition matches to raise fund for cyclone victims

To raise fund for the cyclone affected people, Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) arranged `best of three' exhibition matches between Abahani Limited and Mohammedan Sporting Club on December 3, 5 and 7 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in the city reports UNB.
The entire gate money of the three matches will be donated over to the Chief Adviser's Relief and Welfare Fund.
The rates of ticket has been fixed at Tk 100 for VIP gallery (one match), Tk 30 for gallery (one match) and Tk 75 for gallery for all three matches.
Tickets will be available at different booths in the city from today (Friday) morning to Sunday (December 2) evening.
"Radio Today" -- the official partner of the exhibition matches -- will give match updates every five minutes.
Meanwhile, the fans of Abahani Limited and Mohammedan Sporting Club have started massive campaign in different parts of the city and its adjoining areas to make the three-match series successful.
BFF acting general secretary and member secretary of the organising committee of the three-match exhibition series Manjoor Hossain Malu briefed newsmen about their preparations at a press conference at the BFF conference room Thursday.
BFF President SA Sultan has been made the committee chairman while Abahani Limited Director Kazi Nabil Ahmed and Mohammedan SC General Secretary Lokman Hossain Bhuiyan named co-chairmen.
