Bangladesh Frozen Foods Exporters Association (BFFEA) hailed the proposed budget for fiscal year 2010-11.
Terming the budget 'pro-development, industry-friendly' and pro-people', BFFEA president Md. Musa Miyan praised Finance Minister AMA Muhith for allocating Tk 5.0 billion under the stimulus package for frozen shrimps and fish exporting sectors.
He also urged the government to raise the cash support on export of frozen foods to 15 per cent in a bid to help local exporters compete in the global market.
