BFIU seeks accounts info on 4 members of Minto family

The bank accounts information on four members of Abdul Awal Minto family has been sought from all the scheduled banks by September 08.
The Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU), the intelligence agency of the country's financial sector, issued a letter in this connection on Monday asking the banks to provide the account details of suspected persons within the stipulated timeframe.
The persons are Tafsir M Awal, Tabith M Awal, Tajwar M Awal and Maya Margherita Barolo Rizvi Awal. Besides, the BFIU also sought such information on Zakir Khan in the same instruction.
