BFUJ election today

The election of Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) will be held today (Sunday), reports UNB.
The voting will be held at the National Press Club from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm with an hour break from 1.00 pm to 2.00 pm, said a press release Saturday.
Meanwhile, the biennial conference of BFUJ was held at the National Press Club Saturday with its president Mozammel Haque in the chair.
Dhaka University Vice-chancellor Prof SMA Faiz attended the conference as the chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion, the BFUJ leaders demanded immediate withdrawal of the state of emergency, as journalists were facing difficulties in performing their professional duties due to it.
