BGB-BCP flag meeting begins

A flag meeting between Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and Border Guard Police (BGP) of Myanmar is being held in Myanmar’s western town of Maungdaw in Rakhine state on Wednesday. The metting is being held over return of Nayek Abdur Razzak, who was taken away reportedly from the Naf River in Teknaf upazila under Cox’s Bazar district nine days ago. A six-member Border Guard Bangladesh delegation, led by Lt Col Abu Jar al Zahid, commanding officer of BGB 42 Battalion in Teknaf, arrived in Border Guard Police (BGP) battalion’s camp 2 at Maungdaw in Myanmar. On Tuesday, the BGB sent the names of the Bangladesh delegation members to the BGP, according to a news agency.
