BGFCL officers distribute relief goods in B'baria

BRAHMANBARIA, Aug 26: Bangladesh Gas Field Officers' Welfare Association (BGFOWA) distributed relief materials among the flood victims of Chandura and Harospur villages under Sadar Upazila in the district Thursday.
Managing Director of Bangladesh Gas Field Company Ltd (BGFCL) Shahidul Abedin, Major Najmul Huq of the army-led joint forces and local elite were present on the occasion.
The relief materials included three tonnes of rice, one and a half tonnes of potato, one tonne of lentil and half tonne of salt.
Besides, the officers and employees of BGFCL donated their one day's salary amounting to Tk 235,994.00 to the Chief Adviser's relief fund for the flood victims.
