BGIC annual zonal, branch managers' confce held

Bangladesh General Insurance Co Ltd held its annual zonal and branch managers' conference at Dhaka Ladies Club in the city Monday.
Managing Director of the company AK Azizul Huq Chaudhuri presided over the conference. Towhid Samad, chairman of the board of directors, was present as chief guest on the occasion, said a press release.
The managing director expressed the overall situation assessing different aspects of the company.
The chairman termed the new year the high time to go with the new planning.
Additional Managing Director and Company Secretary Ahmed Saifuddin Chowdhury conducted the function.
Among others, Principal Adviser Khorshed Alam, Financial Consultant AZ Chowdhury, Additional Managing Director KM Masum and zonal and branch managers were present on the occasion.
A one-minute silence was observed and a special prayer was held seeking blessings for the late founder chairman and managing director of the company, MA Samad, at the conference.
