BGMEA holds condolence meeting in memory of Mosharraf

Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) Saturday held a condolence meeting and milad mahfil in memory of its ex-president and former MP M Mosharraf Hossain. The meeting was held at the auditorium of the BGMEA complex with its president Atiqul Islam in the chair, said a press release. BGMEA former president and chairman of the parliamentary standing committee on ministry of home affairs Tipu Munshi, its ex-presidents Shafiul Islam, Abdus Salam Murshed and Anisur Rahman Sinha, among others, attended the programme. After the meeting, a doa mahfil was held seeking the eternal peace for the deported soul of Mosharraf, according to a news agency. Mosharraf who was elected MP from Feni-3 in 1996, 2001 and 2008 died Monday evening at the age of 74.
