BGMEA holds milad mahfil for Mosharraf

Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) Saturday held a meeting in memory of its ex-president and former MP M Mosharraf Hossain, reports UNB.
The meeting was held in the auditorium of the BGMEA complex with its president Atiqul Islam in the chair, said a press release.
BGMEA former president and chairman of the parliamentary standing committee on home affairs Tipu Munshi, its ex-presidents Shafiul Islam, Abdus Salam Murshedi and Anisur Rahman Sinha, among others, attended the programme.
After the meeting, a doa mahfil was held seeking the eternal peace for the deported soul of Mr Mosharraf.
Mr Mosharraf who was elected MP from Feni-3 in 1996, 2001 and 2008 died Monday evening at the age of 74.
