BGMEA holds seminar in Ctg

CHITTAGONG, Sept 29: A seminar on 'Transshipment from Non-LDC Countries' was held under the auspices of Bangladesh Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) at its local office in the port city recently.
BGMEA Director Syed Ahsanul Hoque presided over the seminar. Canada Border Service Agency Manager A Raymond Thibold spoke on different rules and regulations relating to customs in the field of exporting ready-made garments.
The speakers discussed different problems prevailing in garments sector of the LDC countries and relevant measures for resolving the problems.
BGMEA directors Mohammad Ferdous and Abdul Mannan Rana and owners of different garments industries were also present on the occasion.
